Lots offered up from 2021 along with the heat, but records show buyers should prepare for Christmas!
Looking back at 2021 we can see that 2022 is showing an increase in lots offered each month up till June, July does see a drop of 14.5% but as explained in our monthly newsletter this is due to a large commercial auction house not holding an auction in June this year like they did last year.
May was an extremely positive month for auctions seeing double figure increases in lots offered and sold, you can see all figures on our newsletter page here.
Online auctions continue to prove a popular way to buy and sell property with the convenience and speed for both buyer and seller. With Zoopla reporting that the average time taken from searching to exchange via private treaty is rising currently at around 170 days (5 and a half months) making the method of buying at auction even more attractive if you want to complete before Christmas!
